About the Exotic Shorthair

Bred in the 1950s and 60s as a 'Persian for people who don't have time to groom,' the Exotic Shorthair is a Persian cross with American Shorthairs. The result is the same flat face and sweet temperament, but with a plush, easy-care short coat. They are sometimes called 'the lazy man's Persian.'
