Poodle

About the Poodle
Despite the French reputation, the Poodle was actually developed in Germany as a duck-retrieving water dog. 'Pudel' means 'to splash in water.' Today the Poodle comes in three sizes (Standard, Miniature, and Toy) and is consistently ranked the 2nd most intelligent breed. Their curly, low-shed coat makes them a top choice for allergy sufferers.
